The Dance of the Celestial Swan

In the days when the world was young, and reality less defined, there existed the Celestial Kingdom. It was an expansive realm that encompassed the heavens, brimming with magical beings who lived in harmony, orchestrating rainfalls, and painting hues over the sky at dawn and dusk.
The Celestial Kingdom was ruled by a wise and benevolent King, Orion. King Orion was renowned for his fairness and wisdom throughout his realm and beyond. However, his pride and joy were his magnificent celestial swans that swam in the silver lakes of starlight near his majestically colossal marble palace. None was more captivating than Cygnus, the Alpha Swan, enchanting, and radiant. Cygnus bore pure white feathers doused with stardust, and her beady eyes were crystals reflecting the reflections from distant stars.
A league beneath the Celestial Kingdom, perched atop the tallest mountain on earth, lived a lonely Hermit. The Hermit was an old man with wisdom far beyond the cognizance of humankind. Being a celestial descendant, he was bestowed with the gift to perceive celestial beings, and from his tiny shack on the peak, he could see Cygnus soaring across the night sky, leaving a trail of stardust behind her that illuminated the heavens.
Cygnus, who was immensely fond of dance, often dreamt of performing before an audience that appreciated her creativity. However, the beings in the celestial realm saw her dance every day and took it for granted. The Hermit, on the other hand, watched her keenly every night in awe, admiring her stellar ballet that painted the cosmos in beautiful patterns.
One cold winter night, as the Hermit watched from below, he saw Cygnus take flight. Tonight, she wasn't alone, trailing behind her was a flurry of swans twinkling like stars against the vast dark backdrop of the cosmos. He watched transfixed as they swirled, twirled, and followed Cygnus in a magical ballet, spinning tales in the starry night.
Deep within, a yearning grew in the Hermit to make the world see Cygnus's dance as he saw it. Nevertheless, he was aware that no mortal could perceive the celestial dance. Challenged, he fell into a deep thought.
After many sleepless nights, an idea dawned upon him. Using his ancient celestial knowledge, he crafted a magical easel and with it, a brush made of eagle's feather, imbued with the essence of Starlight. It could capture the dance of the celestial beings on a painter's canvas.
The Hermit painted fervor the celestial ballet every night and slept during the day. With each passing day, his paintings began to portray life. Cygnus dancing with her group appeared alive, leaping out of the canvas. The eyes of the common people couldn't see the celestial beings, but through these paintings, they could witness their fascinating dances, and feel their presence amongst them.
News of Hermit's magical paintings spread like wildfire, and people from all corners of the world visited his humble abode to view the mystifying work of art that danced. Each painting was more entrancing than the last, showing Cygnus’s beautiful dance and regalia. The Hermit's dream had come true. The world was finally witnessing and celebrating the celestial dance of Cygnus.
Word reached King Orion, who was thrilled to hear of the earthlings' admiration for Cygnus's dance. He reward the Hermit with immortality, permitting him to watch and paint the celestial dances for eternity.
From then on, the Hermit lives, welcoming visitors far and near to witness the celestial art, keeping the bond between humanity and the celestial kingdom alive through his bewitching paintings.
