The Chronicle of the Forgotten Forest

In the valley of Elendil, isolated from the human dwellings, nestled an ancient, uncharted forest. This was not an ordinary woodland. It was bathed in mystery, whispered tales of enigmatic inhabitants, entrenched in olden folklore. Its name was Fyrnwood, the Forgotten Forest. The indigenous people, the Forbidden Folk, dwelled in harmony with nature, invisible to the intrusive human eye thanks to an ancient charm that kept this utopia concealed.
Life in Fyrnwood was serene. Its beings, the tiny Furbyns, were half the size of an average human and were distinguished by a pleasant blend of human and fae likeness. They had delicate wings, shining with ethereal glow, carrying the magic of nature. Mostly perceived as myth, these fairy-like creatures guarded the forest, nurtured flora, orchestrated the dawn chorus, elicited the radiant shimmer of dawn, and had the solitary power to summon the nocturnal opalescent moon.
One day, the tranquillity of Fyrnwood was interrupted by the landing of a peculiar object, a silver cylinder, of unknown origin. This intrusion perturbed the Furbyns. Elara, the wise queen, hailing from the noble lineage of Asteria, decided to invocate every Furbyn for a council.
Fascinated yet cautious of the foreign object, they decided to keep a close watch, under the stealthy leadership of their bravest warrior, Orion. The Furbyns were beings of peace, and preferred to observe before jumping into action. Orion was vigilant, blending into the foliage, his eyes never leaving the silver intrusion.
Days turned into weeks, and still, the object remained silent. It became a pointless pursuit until one cold evening, when an eerie glow enveloped the silver cylinder. It opened with a thundering noise, emitting a radiant light, catalysing a transformation in the verdant cove.
From the cylinder emerged an entity, Zerah, standing tall and lustrous, weaving magic of a kind the Furbyns hadn't seen before. Scared yet fascinated, they kept observing. Zerah, non-threatening, slowly adapted to Fyrnwood, conjuring a bridge of co-habitation while remaining oblivious to the invisible spectators.
Their existence remained a secret until one fortunate encounter. Zerah was wandering near a frosty creek when he spotted Aria, a young Furbyn maiden, futilely trying to heal a wounded deer. Touched by her kindness, he stepped forward to assist. His touch caused Aria to become visible instantly, revealing herself to the startled wanderer.
More surprises were in store, as Zerah soon learned about the Forbidden Folk and their enchanting way of life. In exchange, he shared his tale of being sent from another realm, Bythoria, on a voyage to explore potential friendly alliances. The forgotten forest was no longer forgotten but instead was a new ally to Bythoria.
A grand event marked this occasion as Aria, and Zerah became ambassadors, chosen to keep this alliance alive and fruitful. The tale of Zerah, the Forbidden Folk, the unique alliance, the symbol of friendship, traveled beyond the territorial boundaries of Fyrina woods, inscribing an unforgettable chapter in the chronicle of the Forgotten Forest.
