The Boy of Destiny: Edwin's Tale

Once upon a time, in the land of Ruboria, resided a wise but frail King, Roland. His kingdom was prosperous and serene, yet faced a grave threat from the neighbouring kingdom of Ultoria, ruled by the power-thirsty King Galois. Galois planned to impose a brutal onslaught on Ruboria, to expand his kingdom and supremacy. An air of deep anxiety started floating over Ruboria.
King Roland, despite his weak health, was determined to protect his kingdom. He invoked the kingdom's sacred oracle and asked, 'What should I do to preserve the sovereignty and peace of Ruboria?' The oracle, in its divine voice, answered, 'The solution lies within your kingdom, O King! Seek the Boy of Destiny - a shepherded boy named Edwin, gifted with exceptional wisdom and courage.'
King Roland quickly organized a search for this mysterious Edwin. As the news spread across the kingdom, Edwin, who was oblivious to his destiny, presented himself before the King. Roland explained to Edwin about the impending war and the prophecy of the divine oracle. Edwin, though surprised, accepted his destined responsibility to save Ruboria.
For several days, Edwin sought insights from the top scholars, advisors, and magicians in the land. He tirelessly studied the art of warfare, history, diplomacy and magic. As the D-day approached, Edwin conceived a strategy. Instead of preparing the kingdom for war, he arranged a grand festival throughout Ruboria. The festive euphoria baffled King Galois and he sent spies to assess the situation.
The day of the expected assault, Edwin left the castle amidst the ongoing festivities and stepped into an open field facing Ultoria. He held in his hands a symbol of peace- a white rose. He was alone, unarmed yet confident, displaying immense courage.
King Galois arriving at the borders, saw the solitary figure of Edwin standing in the field. Intrigued, Galois ordered his army to halt and approached Edwin. Edwin looked up to the towering figure of Galois and offered him the white rose saying, 'We don't seek war but peace. If you insist on war, you may defeat us, but you will earn a kingdom full of resentful citizens. Let's unite our kingdoms in peace, not war. Aren't two content kingdoms better than one brooding empire?'
Galois was taken aback. He looked at his massive army and then at the solitary, unarmed boy. He admired the courage and simplicity of Edwin's words. They resonated with a part of Galois that was buried deep within his heart under his thirst for power- his love for peace and prosperity.
He accepted the rose from Edwin and agreed to sign a peace treaty. The kingdoms of Ruboria and Ultoria merged to form an alliance, uniting not with bloodshed and tyranny, but with wisdom, courage, and peace. Edwin remained a loyal advisor to both the Kings, guiding them toward a prosperous reign. He became a symbol of peace and hope throughout the kingdom.
King Roland's health improved, witnessing the peace and unity in his kingdom. On his deathbed, he acknowledged Edwin as his rightful heir. King Galois, who once sought to rule Ruboria, happily agreed, thus began the reign of King Edwin, whose wisdom, courage, and love for peace brought an era of prosperity, unity, and tranquility in the land of Ruboria and Ultoria.
