The Baker's Secret Ingredient

Once upon a time in the small town of Riverton, there lived a baker named Suzie. Suzie owned a small bakery in the heart of the town and, despite its small size, it was immensely popular among the people of Riverton. The wonderful smell of her freshly baked items attracted not only the town's immediate residents, but those from neighbouring towns as well.
Every item in Suzie's bakery was distinct with an enticing aroma and a delightful taste. However, it was her bread that was especially popular. Her philosophy of simplicity had created a recipe simple yet tasteful enough to make her customers come back every day.
Suzie had a secret - a secret that only she knew of. Every night, before the sun rose, she would go to the kitchen and whisper a special phrase to her batch of dough, 'You are loved, you are beautiful, you will become the best bread'. This was a secret she inherited from her grandmother, the secret ingredient was 'love'.
One chilly winter morning, a wealthy businessman named Mr. Henry came to the town of Riverton. He was renowned for his hotels and restaurants around the globe. He was always in search of unique dishes to add to his business, and on hearing about Suzie's bakery, he became interested in her coveted bread.
Mr. Henry paid a visit to Suzie's bakery, intrigued by the bread that had created such a buzz. Suzie warmly welcomed him and offered him a loaf straight from the oven. One bite was all it took for Mr. Henry to realize the magic in Suzie's bread. As a businessman, he smelt an opportunity and was immediately intent on acquiring the secret recipe.
Mr. Henry approached Suzie with a lucrative proposal, offering her a sum that could secure her for a lifetime. Suzie, in response, simply smiled and refused. Disturbed but undeterred, Mr. Henry came back the next day and offered her double the previous sum. Yet again, Suzie declined as gracefully as before.
Unable to comprehend, Mr. Henry asked her why she was turning down a fortune for a mere recipe. To which Suzie said, 'The secret ingredient is 'love', Mr. Henry, and love can't be bought or enhanced by wealth. The day I sell my recipe for money, it will lose its essence.' Mr. Henry was taken aback. He had gathered wealth beyond measure, but here was a baker who found her wealth in the smiles of her customers.
Both parted ways that day, each richer in their own way. Mr. Henry returned to his luxurious life, but with a splendid lesson to remember - you can't put a price tag on love. Meanwhile, Suzie continued to bake bread with the same secret ingredient, serving her customers the most delicious bread of their lifetime.
Suzie's tale perpetuated long after she was gone, and today Riverton is known as the town of love-bread. But more than that, it is also famously known for its people - people who believe in the power of love and give more importance to sentiment than to wealth. And, as goes the local saying - 'In the end, love always wins.'
