The Angel's Gift

Once upon a time in the small, quaint town of Serenity, lived a humble couple, John and Hanna. John was a humble carpenter while Hanna spent her days tending to their home. They were kind and loving yet unfortunately were not blessed with the joy of children.
One winter night, as the snow blanketed the peaceful town, a poor, shivering old lady knocked at their door. With loving hearts and welcoming smiles, John and Hanna brought her in. They blanketed the old woman with warmth, offered her their table's best, and gave her their bed to stay for the night. The old woman thanked them and blessed their kind hearts before drifting to sleep.
The next morning, they found the bed empty. In place of the old woman was a kindly looking angel. She revealed herself as Angel Rafaella, an angel of blessings, who was sent to reward their unbounded kindness. Touched by their warmth despite not having any children to share their love, Rafaella offered them a gift. As the couple was too humble to ask for material things, Rafaella bestowed upon them a tiny seed.
With a curious look, the angel instructed them to plant the seed in their garden and care for it as they would do for their child. Following her words, John and Hanna carefully planted the seed. Days and nights passed, and they nurtured it with love like the angel had told them.
Slowly and miraculously, sprouts began to emerge, growing, flowering, and forming an enchanting tree, unlike anything they had ever seen before. This tree bore one unique fruit every morning, each filled with unexpected gifts and surprises. When they ate a fruit, they found it gave them a day filled with happiness and youthfulness. When a fruit was given to a sick neighbour, it restored their health.
The news about the miracle tree spread throughout Serenity and beyond. Every day, people from far-off lands came to get a piece of its miraculous fruit. Despite being their gift, John and Hanna did not hesitate for once before sharing the blessings.
John and Hanna's humble home was no longer childless, for they looked after every soul who came to them in need. They had children in the laughter they spread among the sick, in the hope they restored in the hopeless, and in the love they spread among the unloved.
Time passed, and John and Hanna eventually grew old. They continued to spread the blessings of the fruit, their love for others never fading. On their last night, Rafaella returned to thank them for radiating love, kindness, and compassion in abundance.
She wanted to bless them with eternal life but they declined, making one last wish instead. They asked Rafaella to let the tree live forever, spreading joy among people for all eternity.
The angel granted their wish, and they passed away in peace. Their legacy continued to live through the enchanting tree, making a real difference in people's lives. From far and wide, people came to take shelter under its shade, and every morning a new fruit would appear, just as it did when John and Hanna were alive.
So, continue the legacy of John and Hanna, remember to share the joy, kindness, and love with everyone around you. For there is always a blessing from a tiny seed of love, growing in places where kindness has been sown.
