Starlight Wish

Once upon a time, in the beautiful town of Annihilany, was a mystical house known as the Maison de la Lumière. This house was believed to be magical. It had an owner, but no one had ever seen him. They didn't even know his name. But whenever someone had trouble in the quiet town, the house always lit up, and by the following day, all the problems would be resolved mysteriously. That was the reason it was called the Maison de la Lumière, the House of light.
One day, a young orphan girl named Luna came to the town. Sweet and lowly Luna had nothing but a small bag of clothes and an old teddy bear. She was captivated by the story of the Maison de la Lumière and held a buried hope in her heart. Maybe, just maybe, the magic of the house would solve her problem - the yearning for a family.
One clear, starry night, Luna couldn't bear the isolation in the orphanage anymore. She slipped out through the back door and made her way to the Maison de la Lumière. The house stood stark against the black canvassed sky, a silhouette of mysteries wrapped inside its centuries-old walls. Luna gazed at it wide-eyed, as the tall spires seem to touch the swirling cosmos above. The young girl found herself irresistibly drawn towards it, almost as if the house itself was calling out to her.
With a gentle push, the ancient door creaked open. Luna stepped into the house, covered in a shroud of darkness. Suddenly, she saw a bright glimmering light that illuminated the grandeur of the house. It was a magic mirror hung on a side wall. As Luna approached the mirror, she saw colors of the stars twirling in it, each color representing a problem the people of Annihilany had once had and how the house had solved it. Feeling a new surge of hope, Luna touched the mirror, and in she went to a world of dreams.
Inside the magic mirror, Luna found a gallery of pictures, each lit by starlight. They were stories of different families, laughing, loving, living, filling the air with their warmth. As Luna passed by these tableaus of familial love, she felt a strange, new sensation envelop her. She reached out and touched one of the families, whispering her wish to the stars.
Instantly, Luna felt a surge of light energy flow through her. The stars in the mirror started swirling, dazzling her, and she was pulled out back into reality. The house dimmed, and Luna rushed out, feeling a bittersweet wave of hope and fear. She fell into a deep sleep full of dreams of the star-filled world she had visited.
The next morning, Luna woke up to the strange surroundings. She noticed a couple, the Joyces, sitting beside her. She had seen them before, a kind couple who frequently visited the orphanage but had no children of their own. They smiled warmly down at her as they told Luna that they had gotten a sign from the stars last night. They had dreamt of a young girl, Luna herself, needing a family. Overwhelmed by happiness, Luna leapt onto them in a heartfelt hug.
The news of Luna finding a family spread throughout Annihilany. Everyone was amazed, and their belief in the magic of Maison de la Lumière was reinforced. The House had listened to Luna's desperate plea and granted her one wish. Luna now had a family.
Over the years, Luna and her family lived happily, blessed by the mystical magic of the Maison de la Lumière. The magical house continues to shine brightly, providing salvation to those who seek it, while Luna's tale echoes through the town as a beacon of hope for others.
