Return to the Forgotten World
Once upon a time in a small village named Sereneville, there lived an old, eccentric man named Arthur. Arthur was not just an ordinary villager; he was a retired explorer, renowned for his daring adventures into the unknown and for his brilliant mind filled with incredible stories of an unseen world. The villagers, especially the children, were always intrigued by his tales, and these tales became the soul of the village folktales. One story that captivated everyone was about a mystical world on the other side of the Great Mountains. The villagers referred it to as the 'Forgotten World', which was filled with strange, magical creatures and plants, the sight of which would boggle an ordinary mind.
Days settled into weeks, weeks into months and months turned into years but Arthur's yearning for one last adventure kept growing and one day, he decided to travel to the Forgotten World, one last time.
In his journey, he was accompanied by three brave teens of Sereneville; David, the blacksmith’s son, Lia, the baker’s daughter and Clank, the witty carpenter’s son. Each had a pair of brilliant eyes filled with courage and curiosity. Equipped with just a compass, a map, food, water and of course, Arthur's unstoppable spirit, they embarked on the journey.
The path was rough, the mountains treacherous and the weather, unpredictable. They faced countless adversities but the tales of the Forgotten World kept their spirits bolstered. On reaching the other side of the mountain, they were left breathless by the sight before them. It was more wondrous and magical than what Arthur had described. Huge, neon plants swayed under a cobalt-blue sky, illuminated by a glowing moon, even in daylight. Strange, but friendly creatures playfully pranced around. Arthur's eyes sparkled with joy, as the rest of the group watched in awe.
In the Forgotten World, they came across a tribe named Lumino. They were the sole human habitation in this part of the world. The Lumino people welcomed them warmly into their community and for a few weeks, Arthur and his team lived among them, blending with their customs, tasting their vibrant food, learning their musical language and truly understanding their way of living in harmony with the magical environment.
One day, a grave calamity spread through the Lumino tribe. A sickness descended upon them and rapidly many fell ill. Their medicinal plants seemed ineffective against this strange illness. Arthur and his companions, in a desperate bid to help, offered their assistance. Using old forgotten techniques and special elements from Sereneville, they managed to concoct a cure that healed the Lumino people.
The tribe bestowed upon them their deepest gratitude and in return, they shared their secrets about the magical creatures and plants, thus adding new chapters to Arthur's adventures. Overjoyed by their experience, Arthur and his companions prepared to return to their own world, promising to keep the Lumino tribe and the Forgotten World, a secret to protect it.
After several days of tedious traveling, they finally reached Sereneville. The villagers greeted them with cheer and anticipation. They shared the stories of their experiences, making sure to alter the stories to protect the Forgotten World and its inhabitants. These tales, even though they were censored versions, filled the villagers with amazement and admiration, making Arthur's final adventure the most legendary of all his exploration stories.
Soon, the young explorers grew up and Arthur passed away, but his stories lived. His tales were told to every new generation and every child in the town dreamed of, one day, becoming just like Arthur, full of courage and curiosity, forever ready to dive into the depth of the unknown
