Princess Margaret and The Rune of Time

In the land of Alfitaria, where mighty dragons roosted in the west, and elves inhabited the east, there stood the great castle of Ethene. Every day, the sun shone down on Ethene, creating a sparkling spectacle as the castle's mirror-like towers reflected the brilliant flood of light. Within the castle resided King Edmund and his only daughter, Princess Margaret. Margaret was a beautiful maiden with eyes incandescent as sapphire and hair as dark as a ravens feather. Bewitching beauty aside, Margaret was admired for her intelligence and bravery, the kind of bravery that led her to explore lands others feared to tread.
One morning, Margaret was drawn to her father's study, home of the mystical orb. The Orb of Omna, an heirloom passed down from generations, was famed to possess the power to show the path unknown. As she touched the orb, it flickered into life, revealing a vision of cataclysm dancing within. Unsurprisingly frightened but compelled, Margaret resolved to prevent this impending disaster.
In the dead of night, she took up her father's sword, kissed her sleeping father's forehead, and left on her secret mission. Margaret followed the Orb's guidance, venturing beyond her familiar kingdom boundaries. The further she travelled, the testier the journey became: thorny thickets, perilous cliffs, freezing rivers, she overcame them all. The young princess's bravery shone through each obstacle she encountered.
After seemingly endless days and nights, Margaret found herself in an eerie forest. The Orb's pulsating glow became brighter, indicating she was closer to her destination. Suddenly, she sensed a pair of blazing eyes watching her. Turning around, Margaret came face-to-face with a gargantuan dragon.
The dragon introduced himself as Farren, the protector of the mystical artifact, the Rune of Time. The orb had led Margaret to him, interpreting her need. With her heart in her throat, Margaret explained her mission, narrated her vision, and made her request.
Much to her surprise, Farren agreed to help her. He took her to the heart of the forest, and there, embedded in an ancient tree, was the Rune of Time. As she touched it, the Rune and the Orb began to glow simultaneously, their arcane powers merging. And then, images started to flood her mind. These were not visions of the impending catastrophe but the disaster's solution and prevention measures.
The Rune revealed that the catastrophe was not a wrath of nature but an insidious plot by cruel wizards residing in the western lands. Their plan was to overrun Alfitaria and assume control. Armed with this information, Margaret felt a renewed surge of purpose and courage.
Margaret persuaded Farren to fly her back to Ethene. With evidential visions from the Rune, her father and everyone else in the kingdom were easily convinced. King Edmund, proud of his brave daughter, quickly devised a plan, formed an alliance with other factions and prepared for the impending war.
On the destined day, the wizards from the west attacked. Still, Alfitaria stood unflinching: they parried and repelled the adversaries, their defensive plans successful thanks to the intel anticipating every trick by the wizards. In the end, Alfitaria emerged victorious.
Margaret was hailed the heroine of the war. Her bravery and intelligence were celebrated throughout the kingdom. Farren, the mighty dragon, was welcomed as a friend and ally. Despite being famed throughout her realm, the soft-spoken Margaret remained humble, attributing her victory to courage, wisdom, friendship, and of course, the magic artifacts that had guided her along the way.
