Mikel: The Gift from the Stars

Once upon a time in a distant land, there was a kingdom known for its opulence and wisdom, called Kassandra. The kingdom was ruled by the benevolent and wise King Nikolas who was dearly loved by his subjects. He, too, loved his kingdom and his people more than anything else in the world. His only other passion being a thirst for knowledge, he had transformed the castle into a grand library filled with parchment scrolls and books from all around the world. However, he had one nagging worry that cast a dark shadow over his otherwise peaceful life: he had no heir to inherit his throne.
Queen Ariadne, the queen consort, had passed away many years ago, leaving King Nikolas heartbroken. Overcome by loneliness and with a kingdom to govern, Nikolas often found comforting company in his grand library, among his books and scrolls. It was there where he encountered an ancient book that talked about a celestial event that occurred once every thousand years: the alignment of the three moons of Nubis, the nearby planet visible from Kassandra. The event prophesied the appearance of a Wishful Star that granted the wish of the one who spoke to it first.
With rekindled hope, King Nikolas dedicated every waking moment to comprehending the cryptic scriptures. After many months of tireless reading, interpreting, and preparing, the day of the celestial event arrived. With hushed breath and a pounding heart, he requested the Wishful Star for an heir that would carry forward his legacy.
Twinkling brightly, the star granted his wishes and a powerful energy surged through King Nikolas Being knocked unconscious by the overwhelming surge, when he woke up, he saw a small boy with bright eyes looking curiously at him. Overjoyed with his wish's success, he named the child Mikel, which in their language meant 'gift from stars'.
Mikel was everything King Nikolas had dreamed of. The boy proved to be exceptional, advanced beyond his age. Along with kindness and courage, he, too, had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Surrounded by the kingdom's vast library of knowledge, the boy quickly outsmarted many of the scholars in the kingdom. The kingdom had not only found an heir but also a beacon of hope and wisdom for their future.
However, peace rarely lasts forever. A cunning and wicked sorcerer, known as Argos, had his eye on the throne of Kassandra. He saw Mikel as an obstacle for his diabolical ambitions. One day, he conjured up a deadly storm aimed at the kingdom. Coupled with the sorcerer's malevolent magic, the storm began wreaking havoc across the kingdom, causing panic and fear among people.
Fearless yet wise, Mikel decided he had to tackle Argos to safeguard his kingdom. Living up to his father's teachings, Mikel was not only wise but also kind-hearted. Instead of planning an attack, he used his wisdom. He devised a plan to neutralize Argos’s magic by using an ancient spell from one of the rare parchments in the library – a spell of reflection.
As Argos prepared a powerful spell aimed at Mikel, he launched the spell of reflection. The evil magic of Argos rebounded and was trapped in an eternal vortex. Victory belonged to Mikel, and the kingdom celebrated their brave prince.
King Nikolas proudly watched his son, knowing his kingdom was in safe hands, even after his departure. Mikel, on his journey, had saved his Kingdom and proved himself to be not only courageous but also a wise and intelligent leader. He knew he could peacefully carry forward his father’s legacy and continue the reign of a wise and benevolent kingdom.
