Lost Roots

In a fragmented universe where magic and science held strong, both adored and feared, lay the enigmatic planet called Eztaria. It was a planet rich in a unique substance called Astra, a matter so potent it could morph reality itself. Eztaria was the coveted treasure across galaxies, and a subject of countless wars. In the midst of chaos, it was now home to two distinct societies, the Trigons and the Quades, divided by discriminative ideologies but united by their dependence on Astra.
Trigons were originally from Eztaria and believed in the ancient prophecy of the Astra Goddess, considering Astra as a divine gift. They led simple lives, respecting the mystical virtues of their land, and harnessing Astra for spiritual enlightenment. The Quades, on the other hand, were a faction of technologically superior alien invaders, who saw Astra as a power source for their highly advanced machines and weaponry. They did not believe in the divine, they worshipped Science and depended on it for survival.
The story revolves around the lives of two characters, Veon, the Trigon, and Synara, the Quad. Both raised in starkly different atmospheres but deeply affected by the strains of their cohabitation. Veon, a pacifist and a wise spiritualist, wished desperately for unity and peace. He believed that the dichotomy of their existence was tearing their world apart, and the key to salvation lay in embracing their differences. Yet, the divisiveness was so deeply entrenched that even the thought of unity was considered an abomination.
Synara, on the other hand, was a mechanical prodigy among the Quades, the creator of the most potent Astra-based weapons. But she had learned in her life that the dominance of power brings nothing more than unending warfare, and secretly, she coveted peace.
Despite their unshared truths, Veon's path crossed with Synara when he saved her life during one of the frequent skirmishes between the two factions, and this chance encounter sets our story in motion.
Veon risked his life to save Synara despite their differences, and it was there that a dormant vein of compassion was struck in Synara's heart. She was inquisitive about Veon, and in the silent vow of saving Veon's life, a new bond was formed. Their interactions started off semi-hostile, argumentative, but there was something powerful pulling them together, a shared dream that neither ever vocalized — the dream of peace.
Veon introduced Synara to the magic of Eztaria and the true essence of Astra, while Synara shared the wonders of technology, slowly breaking down the walls of prejudices between them. The prophecized turning point arrived when the Quades announced a plan to mine out all the Astra, an event that would lead to the sure destruction of Eztaria.
Veon and Synara, with their newfound perspectives and understanding, decided to take steps to ensure the survival of their planet. Veon, with the help of Synara's technical expertise, showcased Astra's spiritual potential to Quades. Simultaneously, Synara demonstrated the future of technology that respected the natural potential of Astra to Trigons. Their joint effort marked an epoch of unity and empathy that Eztaria had forgotten.
The ambitious project stoked fears and ignited opposition from all sides. However, their unwavering faith and display of unity changed the course of their planet's destiny. Eventually, the two factions agreed to cease their activities threatening the very life of their precious source- the Astra.
The story of Veon and Synara stood as a beacon of hope and peace in Eztaria's history, changing the face of its society forever. Their journey symbolized unity in diversity, proving that if an idealist believer and logical mechanic could unite for a shared dream, so could their world.
No single word was ever enough to capture their legacy, yet Eztaria called it -'Lost Roots'. The journey of a lone planet in its struggle to unite its people and embracing its forgotten legacy of mutual respect and peaceful cohabitation.
