Long Lost Kingdom of Azel

In a time erased from human memory and history and nestled in the heart of an enigmatic ocean, existed the mighty Kingdom of Azel. Radiant, with ethereal beauty, and rich with the choicest of nature's offerings, Azel flaunted an unparalleled civilization hitherto unwitnessed by the changing world.
Early morning, as the sun splashed onto the pearly coast of Azel, recently crowned King Azen made his way to the Grand Opulence, the seat of his throne. The palace was a marvel, with soaring towers etched into the azure canvas of the sky, spirited horses galloping in frescoes along the glittering walls, and grand tapestries heralding tales of valor and glory. Among the draped overhangs and looming marble statues, a sense of history intermingled with the present, creating the timeless magnificence known as Azel.
On his throne, King Azen turned to his veteran advisor, Inak. All his life, King Azen had been fond of Inak's wisdom. Even as a child he admired the old man fearing neither war nor pandemonium, only misguided leadership. That morning, Inak sensed a cloud of perturbation around Azen. 'A penny for your thoughts, my King?', Inak asked, eyeing Azen with seldom found warmth.
'I wish to see Azel become the beacon of enlightenment for the world, as it had been under my father’s reign. But, there remain dark corners, veiled in ignorant traditions that smother the sparks of progress. How do I illuminate those?', confessed Azen, his face displaying a palette of concern and determination.
Inak, ever sharp and empathetic, nodded at his worries. He understood that the young king’s fears were not unfounded. 'Azel is a cauldron of a distinctive amalgamation, but remember, an enlightened king makes an enlightened kingdom, my King. It is not mere traditions that bind us but the understanding behind them. Knowledge is the light to clear the shadow of ignorance'.
Inak’s words echoed in Azen’s mind for days to come, guiding his reign and instilling newfound wisdom in him. Instead of demolishing old customs, Azen educated the people about them, cultivating a sense of understanding. Libraries, schools, and forums of discussion sprung up like burgeoning flowers. Questions were encouraged, debates ignited, and curiosity fed. Azen held on tight to the torch of enlightenment, going gallantly against the winds of ignorance, sheltering the flame.
Over the years, Azel shone even brighter. Farmer or blacksmith, artist or scholar- no one was left untouched by Azen's radiance. Progress was no longer just a deafening demand but had become the very breath of existence. The King's dream had transformed into a collective vision, and Azel had finally unlocked its golden era.
But the flame of prosperity often summons the winds of greed. From across the ocean, envy blazed in the eyes of Emperor Kroz, who commanded the formidable kingdom of Kreig. Unable to bear the dazzling brilliance of Azel, Kroz leaped into war. Ninety-nine days and nights of relentless struggle followed, rivers ran red, and the once proud towers of Azel bled bricks and dust.
Seeing his beloved city crumble sowed seeds of despair in King Azen, but he refused to let it grow. Familiar with Kroz's insatiable eyes, he safely hid the kingdom's boundless knowledge deep under the city, known only to him and Inak. Upon the ultimate night, when hope seemed lost, a myth turned reality. Azel, hidden from human history, shielded itself from Kroz's greed and vanished into the ocean's embrace, taking its wisdom along.
All that remained was a legend, an echo of a powerful kingdom. Kroz was left with nothing but regret and mocked for his vain pursuit. His once formidable empire crumbled under its weight of ignominy. The world was oblivious to Azel's true heart, buried deep within the earth's bosom. But one day, it would be found. One day, the story of Azel would be told again. And when that happens, Azel would live on, not as lost ruins but as a beacon of wisdom, enlightenment, and progress.
Such is the tale of Azel- the long-lost Kingdom, waiting for the right hands to embrace her, the right eyes to know her, and the right hearts to cherish her.
