Land of Forgotten Dreams

Once upon a time, in a land far away, rested a beautiful kingdom named Illumia. It was not your ordinary kingdom. It emitted a radiant glow, a semblance of hope, dreams, and imagination. The charisma of Illumia was nothing less than enchantment. It was a mesmerizing scape of vibrant colors dancing in the sky, a concert of dreams, for Illumia was the Land of Forgotten Dreams.
The inhabitants of this dazzling realm were the very dreams we forsake in our waking hours. To human eyes, dreams are mere figments of imagination, distinct and fragmentary. But in Illumia, each dream was personified and lived as lively as the wind, the river, and the sunshine. They held the magic borrowed from the minds of human thinkers, thusly intricate, diverse, and spellbinding. They also had a king, King Morpheus, an ancient benevolent and wise creature born from the first dream ever dreamt.
Unbeknownst to the humans, this was where their forsaken dreams thrived. Irrespective of their varying nature - be they whimsical, fearful, surreal, or delightful - every dream was welcomed in Illumia. They found a home in Illumia, living in harmony, learning and evolving, and promising to wait for their dreamers to remember them.
However, an unexpected calamity disrupted the peaceful life of this penal asylum of human dreams. A force of darkness, known as the Oblivion, started becoming more potent. Born from the heart of unrecalled nightmares, it grew gradually by corrupting the forgotten dreams, draining them of their colors and joy, and turning them into shadows of despair. As more and more dreams fell under its malevolent influence, Illumia began losing its luster.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, King Morpheus summoned all dreams and announced, 'Brave Dreams of Illumia! I fear Oblivion's danger is imminent. But fear not, for even in the darkest hour, a glimmer of hope remains. The humans, our dreamers, if could remember us again, their belief can restore our glorious kingdom.'
Thus, began the grand mission from Illumia to Earth. 'Very special dreams' - as King Morpheus named them - were chosen to voyage back to their dreamers. Their task was to remind humans of their forgotten dreams, healing their dispirited souls, and in the process help strengthen Illumia against the obliteration threatened by Oblivion.
Among the chosen brave dreams was Lux, a radiant dream of a little girl Amy, an orphan who always dreamt of being an astronaut but never had the means. Lux traveled across the vast expanse of reality, successfully reaching Amy, who was now a young working woman grappling with the mundanity of life's hardships. Amy was initially taken aback by the dream but gradually started remembering Lux and her heartfelt childhood dream to become an astronaut.
Lux's presence brought a wave of inspiration and happiness in Amy's life. Amy took a bold decision to apply to a prestigious space exploration program despite the odds. True to Lux's confidence in her, Amy got selected in the program, and before she knew it, Amy was days away from visiting a space station accompanied by experienced astronauts.
Amy's journey towards fulfilling her dream resonated in Illumia. As dreams observed changes in Amy, they experienced alterations within themselves. Strains of colors and dimensions reappeared. King Morpheus smiled as he watched Illumia regaining its brightness, slowly yet surely.
In the ultimate battle between the dreams and the Oblivion, Amy's belief and connection with Lux were so strong that it lead to a collective rise in the vitality of dreams all across Illumia. King Morpheus lead the final onslaught; armed with renewed energies, dreams battled with the Oblivion, driving it back into the eternal abyss.
Once the last echoes of the struggle ceased, tranquility returned. Illumia, now brighter than ever, witnessed a grand celebration to honor the great comeback of dreams. In the human world, Amy had launched into space, realizing her dream. As she smiled looking at the world from up above, it mirrored in Lux, and Illumia glowed even more vibrant.
