In the flourishing Kingdom of Etraenia, known for its strong regency and the warmth of its people, there was a priceless treasure, the Sapphire Tear. A delicate crystal tear-shaped sapphire with the ability to bring a wild surge of luck to its possessor. Everyone desired it, but no one knew where it was hidden. Unknown to many, the mighty King Alaric held the secret of the Sapphire Tear's location, passed down through generations.
It was only when the Kingdom was clouded by a dreadful famine did the king reveal the secret to his only son, Prince Kaelan. The king explained that to retrieve the Sapphire Tear, they needed to embark on a perilous journey across the kingdom, through treacherous mountains and vast deserts to reach the Sapphire Sea, resting place of the treasured gem.
