Journey Through The Mirror
Lucinda Becker was no ordinary teenage girl. She possessed an extraordinary ability that made her different from everybody else on Earth. Lucinda could step through mirrors into parallel realms. This all began on her thirteenth birthday. As a gift, her grandmother, a devout and a mystical woman, gave her a beautiful ornate vintage mirror. This was not any ordinary antique, but a generational endowment.
Lucinda was enraptured by her reflection in the vintage mirror. However, she noticed something strange. The face in the mirror was not mimicking her actions. Suddenly, her mirrored counterpart reached out and pulled Lucinda into a parallel universe.
The new world was like an inverted photocopy of her reality, where the land was a mirror image, yet strangely different. The trees were silver; the sky was a luminous lavender and the birds had roseate feathers. Lucinda was bewildered, yet awestruck by the ethereal beauty around her.
In her escapades across this mystical universe, she met a boy of her age named Raymond. He had the same gift and had also been transported from his world through a mirror, years ago. He took Lucinda under his wings and became her companion in this new, bizarre world.
Raymond shared tales of this world, warning her about the wicked Mirror Queen who ruled with an iron hand, casting dark shadows through her controlling mirrors. The natives, 'Mirrorskins' lived in constant fear of the Queen, who could see everything through her magical mirrors.
Lucinda, brave-hearted, made it her mission to liberate this oppressed land. Raymond, enchanted by Lucinda's tenacity, couldn't help but join her mission. Together they embarked on an intense journey through terrifying landscapes, battling monstrous creatures, meeting benevolent allies, and decoding cryptic prophesies.
Their journey led them to the Mirror Queen’s castle. Lucinda was apprehended by the guards and brought before the Queen. However, Raymond, who was adept at staying unseen, managed to remain hidden. As Lucinda stood before the Queen, she felt an overpowering energy surrounding her. The Queen’s eyes reflected a thousand-fold of malicious intentions. The final battle was at hand.
The Queen attacked, sending a storm of shards at Lucinda. However, Lucinda, channeling all her courage, used her gift to avoid the strike, deflecting the mirrors back to the Queen. A major battle ensued wherein Lucinda was able to shatter the Queen's primary mirror, effectively crippling her power.
Raymond then joined the battle, distracting the guards to give Lucinda a fair one-on-one chance against the Queen. The Queen was stronger than they had anticipated. However, Lucinda remembered her grandmother's words, 'Real strength lies within one's heart, not their abilities.' She concentrated all her inner strength and harnessed her true power, successfully shattering the Queen's existence into a thousand shards of mirror.
With the fall of the Queen, the cursed mirror land was freed. The Mirrorskins celebrated their freedom and Lucinda was hailed as a hero. As a restored hope dawned over the mirror land, so did Lucinda and Raymond's time in it. They bid goodbye to their mirrored allies and walked back into their mirrors, both returning to their respective worlds.
As Lucinda stepped out of her mirror back home, she realized how much she had grown. The timid girl was now a brave, young woman. She looked at her reflection in the mirror, grateful for the incredible journey it had given her. The mirror which once served as a passage, now once again became a regular mirror, reflecting the face of an extraordinary hero, Lucinda Becker.
