These crystals, beautiful and radiant, were an integral part of every Etherean's life, blessing them with powers that earned Etherea the title 'Kingdom of the Enchanted'.
The greatest of all these crystals was the Astral Mace, a massive crystal possessing a thousand-year-old legacy of incomparable powers and wisdom. The king housed it in the grand castle for everyone's well-being. Its incomparable influence was cherished by the inhabitants of Etherea until the day notorious raider Duragon managed to steal it.
Duragon was a power-hungry outlaw from the neighboring enemy realm. Overwhelmed by the destructive potential of the Astral Mace, he unleashed chaos upon Etherea, wreaking havoc and plunging Etherea into darkness.
