Fable of the Lost Star

In the heart of the forgotten end of the cosmos, there floated a sad, solitary star named Seraphina. Unlike her friends, Seraphina did not have planets revolving around her. She felt a loneliness as vast as the cosmos itself and thought she had no purpose.
One day, while weeping her starry tears into the cosmos, Seraphina saw an orb of blue and green coming towards her at a great speed. The orb was Earth, which had been untethered from its solar system due to a catastrophic cosmic incident.
Eager to make friends, Seraphina reached out her rays and gently pulled Earth into her companionless orbit. Earth was confused and scared, but Seraphina comforted it with her warm orange glow. With time, Earth adjusted to its new system, and Seraphina swelled with happiness and purpose. Where stars had planets and moons to give life, she now had Earth.
But the challenge had just begun. Seraphina discovered that she had to adjust her energy to suit her new friend. Too much power, and she would scorch Earth; too little, Earth would freeze. It was a delicate dance which Seraphina decided to navigate with care.
For the inhabitants of Earth, this was a miracle. They saw their sun rise and set as usual, not knowing that it was a whole new star out there. This gave them hope, and they started rebuilding their lives after the disaster that had taken them away from their sun.
But joy isn't infinite, right? Just as things were settling, a group of rogue asteroids headed towards Earth. This is it, thought Seraphina as she steeled herself to save her friend. Gathering all her energy, she made herself shine so brightly that the asteroids melted away before they even neared Earth.
This act, however, left Seraphina weakened, so much so that her light started to dim. Earth recognised its friend's peril, and the inhabitants gathered, looking to the heavens. They did not understand what was happening, but they knew something was wrong with their sun.
Desperate to save their new sun, the inhabitants of Earth launched a high-energy beam, aiming for the heart of Seraphina. It was a show of unity and an act of faith, for they did not know if their efforts would yield anything. But something needed to be done, and that was the best they could think.
The energy beam reached Seraphina just in time, filling her with the strength she needed. With her power renewed, she lit up the cosmos once more, her light reaching every corner of her lonely corner and filling Earth with warmth and happiness. Earth's people celebrated for days, their faith in their sun renewed, their fear of darkness faded away.
Seraphina was no longer the lonely star she once was. She had Earth, her friend, and she had a purpose. She had people looking up to her, praying to her, deriving life from her. More importantly, she had earned her place in the cosmos, not as the lost star, but as the saviour of Earth.
In the end, this is not just a tale of a star and a planet. It is more about companionship, the courage to embrace change, sacrifice, hope, and unity. That is the story of Seraphina - the Lost Star.
