Elio and the Silver light Stag

In the distant land of Aurania, cocooned from the rest of the world by thick swirling mists, there was a creature more sublime than any fairy tale beast - The Silverlight Stag. His coat glistened brighter than the purest of sapphires in the sunlight, and antlers were grand, stretching wide like a silver crown, shimmering with a mystic sheen.
In the heart of Aurania, lived a boy named Elio - an orphan, alone but not unloved. Despite his hardships, he possessed a heart brimmed with kindness and a keen curious spirit. His fascination was folklore, particularly the legend of the Silverlight Stag, a tale passed down through generations. Rumor had it those who could capture the silver stag would gain whatever they most desire. For Elio, that was the truth about his parents' enigmatic disappearance.
On a frozen night, Elio embarked on his quest. He bade farewell to the sleeping village, his heart pounding with a cocktail of fear and excitement. According to the legends, the Silverlight Stag was found deepest within the Mist Wood, an enchanting but treacherous part of Aurania.
He journeyed three days and nights, guided by moonlight, through the thick woodland. On the fourth day, under an ancient, twisted tree, he spotted a stunning creature standing serenely against the twilight sky - The Silverlight Stag. It was more majestic than any tale Elio had heard.
Mustering courage, Elio approached the stag, reaching out a tentative hand and the forests once echoing with birdsongs fell silent. But before he could make contact, the stag darted away, leaving a trail of sparkling lights. Elio followed, his feet carrying him over rocky crags and icy rivers, his heart filled with hope.
He pursued the stag till he saw a great chasm. At the end of the chasm, the stag stood by a luminous river and beyond was an old castle shrouded in blue mist. Elio was daunted but determined. Summoning his strength, he leaped, feeling an uncanny force pulling him forward.
He landed on the other side to the sound of a soft, gentle croaking voice, 'What brings a young man, to the land beyond the mists?' Elio turned and saw an old man. He had twinkling blue eyes and was surrounded by a faint silver glow that reminded Elio of the stag. 'I... I want to know the truth about my parents', Elio stammered.
The old man, with a knowing smile, gave Elio a small silver key. He instructed the boy to open the castle's largest door and that he'll find his answers.
Elio walked in the castle, with his heart thumping louder than the echoing silence of the hallways. He unlocked and pushed open the enormous doors to reveal a room filled with mirrors. In them, he saw his parents. They were spirits entrapped in the realm beyond the mists, banished by their enemies who envied their power.
Their trapped spirits saw Elio. His mother cried out - 'Elio, our son, we're so glad to see you!' His father added - 'Use the key, son. Free us.' Suddenly, every mirror started glowing again with the silver light, and the spirits of his parents were released. At last, the castle came alive with the joyous reunion and laughter echoed in the hallways.
Elio had unveiled the truth of his parents, and with it, he bridged the gap between the land of Aurania and the land beyond the mist. His parents were freed, and love was found in unforeseen places. It was the humble heart and bravery of the orphan boy that achieved what no man had so far dared to, and thus, he is remembered as Elio, the Liberator of the Mist Realm.
