Elena: The Queen of Two Worlds

In the land far to the northwest, named Emananth, there was a benevolent king, Arvid, known for his bravery and wise decisions. His qualities held the kingdom in unity, peace, and prosperity. However, Arvid's four-year-old daughter, Princess Elena, was cursed.
Every night since her birth, her soul floated away from her body and traveled to a mythical land, Aisto. In Aisto, she lived the entire day, bathed in its magical air, conversed with mythical creatures, learned their ways, until twilight, when she would fall asleep, and her soul would return to the real world. So while she was four in Emananth, she was much older in Aisto. She questioned if she was a human with fantasy elements or a creature of fantasy trapped in a human body.
The peculiar occurrence was discovered by Arvid while consoling an unusually alert and well-spoken Elena, who seemed distressed by her dream about a 'strange' world. When this pattern started repeating every night, Arvid consulted the high priestess, Adelaida. The sage priestess recognized the symptoms of an old curse that was rarely seen due to the difficulty of casting it, the 'Soul Traversal Curse,' which allows one's soul to wander into the boundaries of another realm. Adelaida found it irreversibly tied to Elena's life force, thus removing it meant ending the girl's life.
Elena grew up living two lives, navigating through the paradox of her existence. Strangely, she began developing powers associated with creatures of Aisto, in Emananth, and human sensitivities in Aisto.
When Elena turned eighteen, Emananth received a devastating problem. A brutal warlord from the southern lands, Casimir, invaded, his heart set on Emananth's throne and riches. Arvid led his bravest knights against the invasion but was captured.
Elena, tortured by the news of her father’s capture, waited for nightfall, for her journey into the magical lands of Aisto. She shared the predicament with her magical friends. They advised her to use her unusual power of living both worlds and build an army combining forces of Emananth and Aisto.
The day in Aisto was spent training with the finest warrior, Lykos, using her human tactics. He taught Elena how to control her powers, igniting her weapon, a sword given by her mother into a vibrant flame that could melt the sturdiest metals.
In Emananth, using her magical powers, she brought together her father's scattered soldiers, trained them, told them about her secret and her plan of bringing reinforcements from Aisto. The humans were hesitant about fighting alongside mythical creatures, but their princess' conviction and sincerity won them over.
With duality being her strength, and revenge driving her, Elena managed to unite two contrary worlds under one cause. On the night of the battle, Elena led her army into the warfield. Panic rippled through Casimir's men, faced with an army of trained men and mythical creatures. Each slash from Elena was a spectacle of flame and vigor. Finally, Casimir fell under the fiery sword, and Emananth saw a dawn free from the tyranny.
Arvid was rescued, and Elena's duality was revealed. While people were uncertain initially, they hailed Elena as their 'Queen of Two Worlds' for her dedication.
Elena’s story, thus, came to stand testamentary that ability, conviction, and bravery could bend even the strictest norms of nature. From then on, she embraced her dual existence not as a curse but as the special gift which led to the salvation of her homeland.
