In Cresside lived an orphaned girl named Eliana. She had shining cobalt eyes and cascading chestnut hair, and was known for her compassionate heart. Eliana was the ward of an elder fisherman named Galen. Galen had inklings about the myth of the Silver Dolphin but maintained his silence.
