Dawn of the Crimson Dragon

In the medieval lands known as the Housetop Kingdom, lived the serene and benevolent King Albertson. Glorious with its colossal towers and beautiful landscapes, the kingdom was known for its wise and kind-hearted king. Under the vast cerulean sky, the people lived in harmony. The reverberation of vibrant life, laughter, and harmonious tunes filled the kingdom. However, something was about to disrupt this peace.
Neighbor to the kingdom, beyond the forest and the hills, was a colossal crimson dragon, Rae. He was captivated by the kingdom, its prosperous life, and the sheen of the golden crown that King Albertson wore. Purity and jealousy, a deadly combination was brewing in the heart of the dragon.
One day, Rae took flight, with destruction and chaos in mind, heading towards the Housetop Kingdom. As he soared above, the castles’ sentinels soon noted his large figure against the blue sky. The alarm bells rang, resonating throughout the kingdom. A strange hush fell over the marketplace, the laughing children were ushered inside, and the strong men took up arms.
Glaring at his kingdom, King Albertson knew he had to protect his people. Donning the royal armor and picking up his legendary sword, the king prepared for an imminent confrontation. He, along with his valiant son, Prince Arthur, rode swiftly towards the outskirts of the kingdom.
Meanwhile, the burning rage within the crimson dragon took form as he spewed fires sporadically. The once beautiful kingdom was now on the brink of destruction. Standing before the approaching beast, King Albertson and Prince Arthur stared at death in its eyes. But they were not weak men, and fear eluded them.
Drawing the sword, King Albertson boldly commanded, 'Hold, Rae. I understand your fascination with my golden crown, but your malevolence will not be tolerated.' The dragon roared, dismissing the king's intervention.
A violent exchange ensued. The king, the prince, and their men bravely fought against the dragon's wrath. But slowly, the humans started falling to the dragon's formidable might.
Delving into a desperate moment, Prince Arthur remembered an old legend whispered among the citizens. It was said that a hidden power lay deep within the Housetop Kingdom, a power strong enough to tame the wildest of beasts.
Left with no choice, Arthur retreated, leaving his father to hold the dragon in combat. He rode towards the heart of the kingdom until he reached a historical monument. Ducking inside, he followed the ancient hieroglyphs, leading him to a hidden chamber.
In the dimmed torchlight, a golden dragon-shaped pendant radiated with a strange energy. Remembering the whispers of the old legend, 'The pendant awakens with the user's heart and brave intent,' Arthur clasped it. A wave of energy surged through him. Feeling a sudden heat against his chest, he looked down at the glowing pendant.
Back at the battlefield, the sight of his weakening father, falling soldiers, and burning kingdom filled Arthur's heart with determination. As he dashed towards his father and the destructive dragon, he felt the pendant pulse with his heartbeat.
Finally confronting the dragon, Arthur held up the glowing pendant, speaking words of courage and protection for his kingdom. As if under a hypnotic spell, the pendant began to glow brighter and brighter. Meanwhile, the Crimson Dragon became momentarily distracted and paused to behold the sight.
In the radiant light of the pendant, a blinding flash sparkled, and from it, emerged another dragon, Golden Golem, the Dragon of the Housetop Kingdom. The shock was quite evident on Rae, who for the first time seemed uncertain and fearful.
A magnificent battle ensued between the two majestic beasts. The golden dragon surpassed Rae with its might and grace. Following a fierce struggle, the Crimson dragon was defeated and retreated with a vow to never return.
Golden Golem, returning to his pendant form, left Prince Arthur standing tall, holding the pendant high in the sky. The kingdom roared and celebrated their victory. King Albertson, weary but proud, approached his son, clasping his shoulder.
With the passage of seasons, King Albertson always remembered the brave act of his son. Prince Arthur was honored and celebrated as the Hero of Housetop Kingdom. The tale of the Crimson and Golden Dragons became a legendary tale told for generations within the kingdom walls.
