Cyrus and the Magic Beast

In a world where magical beasts roamed the land, nestled between two towering mountain ranges, lay the quaint village of Elara. The village was known for its remarkable inhabitants, who were not like any ordinary humans; they were magicians born with unique abilities. The tale centers on a young boy named Cyrus with a profound inability to cast magic.
Cyrus was a peculiar child, owing to his lack of magical prowess. While his friends played, casting enchantments and charms, little Cyrus stood at the sidelines, yearning to join in. However, instead of feeling defeated, he compensated for his lack of magic by becoming an expert in understanding and interpreting the language of magical beasts, a skill unique only to him.
On the outskirts of Elara, an ancient prophecy was engraved on a stone. It foretold the arrival of a great evil, a monstrous beast named Moros, who would plunge the world into an eternal abyss of darkness. It further predicted that a special child with an extraordinary skill would be the world's savior.
Years later, Moros awakened, causing hauntings and havoc. The magical community was thrown into disarray, their enchantments ineffective against Moros' terrible power. Fear gripped Elara; hope was dissipating day by day.
Amid the turmoil, Cyrus felt a strange connection to Moros. As the only person who could understand the creatures' languages, he sensed Moros’s fury was fuelled by its loneliness rather than intrinsic evil. He took it upon himself to utilize his ability and bring the beast to peace.
Ignoring the warnings of his friends and mentors, Cyrus ventured into the beast's lair alone. He was filled with fear, but his determination overshadowed it. He found Moros in a mythical cave with ancient ruins; its eyes full of anger, piercing his soul.
Very cautiously, he tried to communicate with it. Moros, bewildered by this act, roared mightily and charged at him. But Cyrus remained calm, continuing to talk. Hours turned into days as Cyrus persisted in his efforts, expressing empathy and understanding for the lonely beast.
Gradually, the beast's fury subsided; Moros began to listen and responded with a series of lamentations. Cyrus discovered that Moros was an age-old magical beast tormented by its eternal loneliness, misunderstood and ostracized by the world. His fury was his desperate call for companionship.
Having discovered the cause of his rage, Cyrus pledged to prevent the beast’s solitude from spreading darkness. He asked the villagers to accept and empathize with Moros. The village, initially suspicious, eventually saw the change in Moros and agreed. The learners used a potent spell, allowing Moros to shrink in size and mingle among them.
With time, Moros became a part of Elara, while Cyrus, the boy without magic, became the hero who saved the village using the language of magic beasts. The story of his bravery and kindness spread, and he was hailed as the savior of Elara, proving that magic wasn't the only strength, but understanding and empathy were the most potent powers one could possess.
