In Emberland, Cedric met the king of shadows, King Oscuro. Oscuro, despairing over the constant darkness engulfing his kingdom, pleaded with Cedric to retake the control of the silver scissors from the rogue shadow creature, who was now threatening the very existence of Emberland.
Cedric, agreeing to help, set off on his noble quest. Along the path, he faced countless trials and tribulations. He met creatures of the shadow, experiencing their blend of harsh reality and whimsical fantasy.
