Besha: The Savior of Corosha

Once upon a time, in the verdant kingdom of Corosha thrived a solitary and lonesome young man named Besha. He was a peculiar creature who interacted with animals more than humans. Meeting new people frightened him - an unfortunate fact that made him the target of mockery among the townsfolk. His only companion was a peculiar bird, an ibis; feverish red in color. Guided by destiny, one day, Besha stumbled upon a strange, ancient scroll while digging his fields. This was not an ordinary scroll; it was a Scroll of Prophecy predicting a calamity that would wipe Corosha off the face of the earth.
Upon seeing the scroll, Besha was mortified. With his dear ibis and the scroll in tow, he decided to go to King Aldren. The king was a noble man of great wisdom but had a stern character. Even though terrified, Besha gathered courage to share the prophecy.
Besha and ibis embarked on their journey towards the kingdom’s capital, Alore. The path was fraught with dangers, runaway bandits, and wild animals, but Besha's unusual kinship with animals helped them avoid perilous situations. Tired and bruised but determined not to surrender, they finally reached Alore.
Upon reaching the royal court, he was initially ridiculed, but the sight of the ancient scroll caught King Aldren's attention. Recognizing the scroll's markings to be from The Era of Ancients, the king beckoned Besha.
Straightening his thin frame, Besha narrated his encounter with the scroll, leading to the prophecy. His voice trembled as he described the upcoming calamity in detail, including the enormous tidal wave that was to grow infinitely, devouring everything in its path.
King Aldren, even though concerned, had doubts about the prophecy's authenticity. A prophecy from an introverted farmer was a far-fetched belief; yet, the king could not ignore the ancient scroll. He decided to convene his council of wise sages to understand its possible implications.
Days rolled into weeks. The royal assembly was in a state of continuous discussion analyzing the scroll. It did seem like some cosmic force was projecting a grave danger. However, the prophecy’s prevention was not outlined in the scroll. It was an enigma wrapped in mystery.
Meanwhile, Besha and ibis were provided shelter at the royal guesthouse. They basked in the quietude of royal gardens, counting every passing moment with an unsettling sense of apprehension.
Then, one day a sage stumbled upon vital information contained in an encoded section of the scroll. It hinted towards a ritual that could still the wrath of the impending disaster. Yet, this ritual was dangerous, and only a pure soul with a knack for understanding nature could undertake it.
King Alden realized that Besha was the most eligible person to perform this ritual. His affinity for animals and his uncorrupted heart matched the qualities outlined in the prophecy. With amassed courage, Besha agreed to undertake the task.
He performed the ritual under the guidance of the sages. An aura of eerie silence steeped the air as Besha chanted the sacred words. Suddenly an enormous tidal wave rose in the distant Ocean of Yugarus. But, instead of moving towards Corosha, it stood still.
The prophecy had come true, but so did the prevention. Besha's brave heart and King Alden's wisdom had saved Corosha from impending doom. The kingdom celebrated its new hero, Besha, who was once an object of ridicule.
From that day forward, Besha was recognized as the 'Savior of Corosha', and he continued his humble life with the ibis, a little less lonely and a great deal more respected.
