The story commences when an ordinary Elerian, Daenar, was selected to ascend the throne of Illaria. Daenar was a curious mix of charm, tenacity, and inherent wisdom. Despite having no royal lineage, the high priest saw potential in him and recommended his name to the Council of Elders.
Now, Ascension wasn't merely a coronation but a rite of passage where the chosen Elerian had to undertake a daunting voyage to retrieve the 'Heartstone' from the Forbidden Fortress at the end of the world. It was believed to bear the universe's wisdom and reflect the core of one's character.

Finally, they were remembered, emerged from oblivion, and recognized as rightful Elerians.
On their return to Illaria, Daenar's Ascension ceremony was conducted with grandeur. Looking on, Master Orlen, the Council of Elders, and the Elerians were filled with pride and admiration. As Daenar approached the throne, he placed the Heartstone at the heart of Illaria, committing to ruling with wisdom, courage, and compassion.
